The first own recording which was done in New York with great local artists. The tenor saxophonist Eric Alexander and drummer Joe Farnsworth rose quickly to the top circles of international players in demand. Originally Slovenian Peter Mihelic is the pianist. The program includes original compositions by Mikkola, and his appraised arrangements of select standards. Strong Hard-Bop swing à la New York!
